I recently got divorced. It was an undeniable divorce https://cheap-divorce-online.com/delaware/ and we ended up on good terms. However, during the hearing, my ex-spouse said that we would file our 2022 tax return separately. Our divorce decree states that “The 2022 tax year will be filed separately for married people.”

I need advice to see if we can file together or should we follow the decree and file separately.
